Opening up our minds to other traditions made us a well rounded individual. Knowing this at an early age can make a positive difference in our lives and the lives of others.
About the Author
Author Sandy Grolle:
As an Early Childhood Coordinator for the Head Start Program in the Midwest, I have become aware of the lack of multicultural children's books. I have personally seen the joy the preschool children receive when sharing their traditions. I feel that this sharing of ideas help children understand different cultures and can make a big difference in learning cultural differences. I have been married for 36 years to my husband Ron. We have two children, Tony Grolle and Mandi Canby. They have blessed us with two grandchildren, Kyle Grolle and Embeth Canby.
