About the Author

Having been raised on a farm in Saskatchewan, country roots and faith are a very essential part of who I am. An avid reader, I always found myself searching for books about farmers and cowboys, and sadly found very few. Therefore, it didn't come as a surprise to me that every time I sat down to write, my characters were always country people, faithful people, and the combination set my imagination free.

After years of trying to be published by conventional publishing houses and just not finding a fit, I decided that I had to make a start in my writing career and have faith in myself. With the support of my husband and two boys, I finally made it to the end of my first writing project and to the beginning of what I hope will be an opportunity to write many more.

It is my hope that in reading this book, you will secure the faith you have within you and rekindle it in such a way that allows you to see the beauty in the simplest things.
