About the Book

THE CAT'S WHISKERS

Test For Cat Lovers

  1. Do you smile with pleasure when your cat purrs?
  2. When a paw stretches languidly toward you, do you talk to your cat?
  3. Does the night seem more mysterious when your cat steals outside to prowl the shadows?
  4. Does your cat issue orders, and get cross if you fail to comply?

If you've answered YES to at least two of these questions, there is a book written for you. Listen to the secret, innermost thoughts of your cat.

A laugh-aloud, insightful, fresh and poetic treat with vivid illustrations full of cattitude. Every face of your cat's complex psyche is depicted. Dark jealousy, magic, mystery, haughtiness and pomp, contrasted with a sense of adventure and the cat's unrivalled ability to abandon itself to joy.

See the world afresh through feline eyes. This heartwarming and life-affirming book is a perfect gift for all cat lovers, not forgetting yourself. Written by cats (translated from paw prints by Stefan Freedman).

Recommended for adults, enjoyed also by older children.

About the Author

Creator of "the 12 stroke programme", and self-confessed cat-oholic, Stefan grew up in East London. In cats, he sees openly displayed all the quirky, contradictory and loveable pulls he recognises as "human". Except that we humans don't know how to live with our wild passions, which makes them more dark and destructive. We can learn so much from cats.

Stefan, and his wife Bethan, travel the world leading wholistic dance and music holidays ( see www.worldance.org. ) There is a second cat book, Catmagick, in the pipeline.
