This book seeks to ask questions about the trials and tribulations of cancer sufferers, the impact on the financial and human costs of the sufferer, their carers and family.

About the Book

This story was written by Natasha's (Tash) father chronicling the events that led up to the ending of her short life.

I hope that I have written the best part of the trials and tribulations that all our family has had to suffer. I promised that I would write this book to dedicate it to Natasha and her daughters, Phoebe aged 6 and Tiffany 4.

I would like to thank all Tash's friends who helped her through her illness, I would like to thank Macmillan Cancer Relief and all the medical staff, especially The Severn Hospice for their care and dedication, in giving Tash a comfortable and dignified end to her life.

I cannot imagine the fear and the thought of the unknown that must go through the mind of anyone diagnosed with cancer. Our daughter came around our house one day as normal and said sit down mum and dad I have something to tell you. "I have been diagnosed with breast cancer."

Oh no! we will have to go through all this again (our daughter Michelle died of Acute Lymphomblastic Leukaemia 26 years ago, aged 2).
