Dusk Falls: Stories of Twilight
by Anthony Stone
348 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #06-3329; ISBN 1-4251-1854-2; US$19.35, C$22.25, EUR15.08, £10.00
Dusk Falls contains an assortment of stories dealing with the supernatural and macabre, with not so much a twist in the tail - but more of a kink.

About the Book
When dusk falls, make sure you are not out on the streets. The myriad of worlds that have gathered together in Dusk Falls, are those in the twilight plane of the uncomfortable and unsettling. They are the worlds of little forgotten villages and railway stations, distant idyllic islands that are not all they seem and building sites, which hold strange revelations.
On the surface they seem perfectly ordinary, the sort of places you would see every day: but view them in the strange glow of twilight - at the time when dusk falls - and you will see a side of them that is best left hidden...
This collection of short stories does not so much have a twist in the tail - but more of a kink.
About the Author
Dusk Falls is my first collection of short stories and I hope you enjoy them for what they are - stories. I published my first collection of Poetry in 2005, and have another ready to go.
Some of them - or the ideas at least - are nearly twenty years old and I am glad to see that other authors have not stolen them! My next collection is provisionally titled Half Light, and should be with you as soon as I can get it together.
I am working on two novels and continue to write poetry and short stories. Despite all this writing I still find time to play in a band and am a keen drummer and guitarist (though not at the same time!). This year I hope to set up a website to advertise my writing so keep your eyes open...
