Double Sleuths is a collection of short stories. The mysteries feature series characters Alison Morissey and Oliver Temple.
Alison, "Ali", is descended from the powerful Vincent-Auld clan in Wyoming. The sweet faced, gentle and compassionate Ali Morrissey is an absentminded bumbler in her in her fifties, who gets into and out of scrapes, while passionate in her efforts to save others.
Oliver does double duty- protecting her boss from bodily harm, and playing the church organ. Oliver works for Brother John, Traveling preacher, who prefers counseling fold in trouble and leaving the organ, the accounts, and the marketing to Oliver. As Lucas John says, "You gotta sell God to get customers into his house." Lucas resists entering the federal witness protection program, thinking Oliver can save his life.
