Nick Wiley happens to be delivering a sailboat for a charter company when her plane ditches just yards away from his boat. He rescues the lady pilot (Charkey) and, after patching up her minor injuries, they sail on to Fort Lauderdale.

Unaware of their plan to retrieve the smuggled emeralds, Nick is persuaded to return the girls to the underwater crash site on the pretense of diving for a crate of rare shells.
