About the Book

Bruce the Moose is tired of all 'the rules at home'. He and his best friend Miranda set off on a train ride in search of freedom from the rules. What they find through an assortment of animals from the sea to the forest to the zoo is a good but interesting thing about 'the rules at home'.



About the Author

Cathee Foote Schlager was born and raised in Eastern Canada. She arrived in California in her late teens and went on to earn both an AA degree and a degree in Early Childhood Education. She was employed in the Childcare Industry for 15 years before retiring in 1998. She currently employed as a caregiver in Hesperia, California and splits her time between Hesperia and Northern California where her husband Eric lives.

Eric Schlager started out in Colorado but has spent much of hi s adult life in California. He became certified for Literary Braille in April 19999 and acquired certification for Math Braille in February 2007. He is currently employed as a Braille Transcriber at the Folsom Project for the Visually Impaired in Folsom, California.

He married his wife Cathee in 2000 and "A Caboose, A Moose and A Goose with an Attitude" is their first collaborative effort.
