About the Book

A young Englishman sets out for the U.S.A. and finds himself involved in the Civil War. Afterwards he wanders in the West, living with the Apache at first and then with the Comanche. He has a struggle to find the happiness and love which he craves. Eventually he finds love in an unexpected place.



About the Author

The author is a graduate of St. Andrews medical school at Dundee, Scotland. He was born and brought up in Yorkshire, and lives in Darlington. He is married to June who is a Scottish nurse. They have twin sons. He is interested in history, especially naval history in which he is an expert, music (he plays the piano and guitar) and naval war-gaming. He is an ex-rugby player and cricketer.
