Journey to Freedom is a book in three parts, comprising short observations on life and scripture, poetry and one-liners.

The first two parts, "Thoughts from a woman on the Edge", and "A few steps forward", follow a journey of faith and understanding of what God is showing us in everyday life. As these parts progress, the insights become a little deeper as the understanding, trust and faith in God, grow.

"She", the final part, is the culmination of the book. Combining what has been learnt with a testimony to God's grace, written from the perspective of one person facing many challenges. It shows how, if we allow it, God's power can be both freeing and healing.

About the Author

Sue King lives in South Yorkshire, with her husband and three children.

A Pastoral Counsellor and a voluntary member of a hospital chaplaincy team, she is part of the Church of England fellowship. When not involved with these, she is a stay-at-home mum.

With a sometimes quirky sense of humour, but always with a serious message of hope, this book was inspired by her own life experiences, and those of others she has encountered. God inspired and God driven, describes both her life and her book.
