Will Christina be successful in finding her twin daughters? Will Adam come back into her life? Does she recover form the horrific accident? Will this accident compromise her career?

About the Book

Becoming pregnant at the age of sixteen in 1956 meant social censure, loss of reputation and financial responsibility beyond the means of a young mother. Christina's decision to relinquish the twins was one with no choice, her father demanding: give up the baby or don't come home.

Christina gives birth to beautiful twin girls, was given twenty minutes to hold them, caress them and love them; all this to last a lifetime.

Despondent after the confinement she is sent to live with relatives in Toronto. Fate steps in and she is discovered while under the theater marquee lights by a model agent from New York. Her rise to fame as a supermodel is phenomenal. Soon she becomes world famous traveling all over Europe working the runways of the world. With fame follows great wealth. Having been abandoned by the babies' father she begins the quest to find her daughters. The trail is cold, the files are sealed, and hope fades. The twists and turns in Christina life are filled with personal loss, tragedy, horrific situations, new found love, but nothing fills the void left by the loss of her children.

She comes full circle after leaving Europe and returns to New York, very wealthy, very beautiful and very lonely. Her path crosses with Adam (the babies' father) but he has never known about the infants. His rage at her abandonment knows no bounds and he leaves Christina heart broken.

Her only clue of the babies' whereabouts lies in the locket she wears about her neck, and the scrap of paper with an address written by the nun who had befriended Christina during her confinement. At thirty two she finds herself alone once more. Happiness continues to elude her but Christina is determined. She is intent on finding eternal love, as well as her children.

The reader will be captivated, enthralled, aroused, and will find the book is fast flowing, hard to put down. All in all it makes for a very fine read.
