About the Author
Born and raised in the farmlands of sourthern Ohio, Carol's family considered her a daydreamer, the adventurous, and creative sibling of four. It would be that adventurous spirit that took her half way around the world and crisscrossing America for over twenty-five years, travels that would become a door opener for her writing.
Carol "set sail" with her career military husband to far away places she had read about as a child. Her travels, unique and myriad experiences, friendships, and losses encountered while traveling and living in thirty-nine states and seven countries, provided her with never ending material to put pen to paper. She wrote of the heart-ache, joy, and questions of life, and how they touched her heart, and of those she met along the way.
She describes the words she puts on paper as emotional, happy, and nostalgic, perhaps a language in itself telling stories of the waltzes she, and those around her danced and experienced in life. Stories and poetry that are written with a carefree and lovable, tender insight to the stages of love and the entanglements the heart endures.
Trained as an artist, Carol has exhibited and sold her art for forty years. She has designed a number of products, owns two patents and four copyrights on her work. She has co-authored one published novel, a TV movie script, and authored two books of poetry and many published articles. She lives in Texas.
