About the Author and Illustrator

Marie J Parsons, nicknamed Rie, for her nieces and nephews, also her six grandchildren. She was Born and lives in a small Southern Ontario City in Canada. Strathroy Ontario. She loves children, this is what has inspired her to write children's short stories. She married and had two Children of her own. A son Brad and a daughter Laura. Once her children grew and left to build their own lives. She now has six grandchildren. Her Interests on her spare time: Horses, pottery, and ceramics. Marie decided to write Short Stories. At first it was just for her two grandchildren Kayla and Miranda. Then I started to think, Well maybe other children would enjoy these stories. Marie is a Christian each story was inspired by the Lord. You will be hearing more stories in the near future. Blake Hughes, Illustrator - teaches students Art Classes in oil painting, a six week session at his residence of Mt Brydges Ontario. He has taught Art Classes for 35 Years. For 21 Years in S D C I in Strathroy Ontario High School, and for 14 Years in London Ontario High School.

Blake was born: London Ontario Canada the Year of Jan. 20th 1938. When Blake was four years old, His mother noticed his great ability in his drawings. Then at grade school, and second dairy school he painted wall murals. His painting's are Genuinely marvelous to see. Blake attended University of Western Ontario in London Ontario, and also Art Specialist degree in Toronto Ontario. He has 6 grandchildren, and resides in Strathroy Middlesex County.
