About the Book

Long ago, there was a civilization called the Children of the Shadow. These people invoked the power of shadow in order to become stronger and overcome their enemies. They did this using a power called assimilate. However, overtime, too much darkness entered the world, and it manifested itself into a being known as Luble'. The Children of the Shadow could no longer control the dark power, and the civilization began to crumble under the power of Luble' and his minions. Finally, the few remaining Children of the Shadow, all combined their power in the technique: assimilate to create shadow portals in which to seal away Luble's power and lock him away.

Nearly a millennia later, Professor Aras; a leader in the field of crypto-anthropology has taken up the task of unraveling the mystery of the ancient civilization. He, captain Mace, and the colonel of the G.S.P. (the globally spanned peace-corps) while searching the ruins of the civilization, have unearthed the tomb of Luble' and his minions; the shadow puppets. Worse yet, Luble' has taken over the minds of the colonel, and Mace, and is using them in his sinister plot to destroy the world. Because he's got control over two very powerful officials in the G.S.P, Luble' now has the resources he needs to find the descendents of the long-lost race, and use them to open the shadow portals that were scattered around the world long ago by the children of the shadow, so that he may return to his true power...
And plunge the world into shadow.

About the Author

I've been working on Blu for what seems like forever, I'm sixteen now, but I started this comic when I was about twelve. Working on this comic has proved to better my skills as an artist, and has tested the limits of my creativity. My ultimate goal is to become a successful animator, but I think this project that I've undertaken may not only be a stepping stone to my future career, but (if I'm lucky) might put my work on the map.
