About the Book

The Caterpillar was written as part of a series of children's books designed to teach them about the deeper truths of life. Through specific lessons, young children will learn about nature and how it functions. In a light and funny way, it takes the child's mind through a day in nature where certain things like having dinner, which we take for granted, may be of much greater significance to other creatures.

This book is about actions and consequences. The children reading this book will can find out on their own the lessons to be learned by the characters and how it impacts their own lives at home, at school and with their friends. The consequences of the actions in one book will be found in the next book coming up. "The Caterpillar Finds Dinner" The new Caterpillar books occupy a very special place in a new method, which is soon to be published: "Help Any Child Become a Genius" by the same author.

The series begins with The Caterpillar, because a caterpillar is so unassuming, unseen, in the background, yet it plays such a dramatic role in the delicate balance of nature. The author thinks that in the same way, children are our 'little people,' but if we provide them with the necessary knowledge in their youth, they may grow up to create a beautiful civilization way beyond our imagination.

About the Author

Lucia Catherine John is very well known as a friend of children. She understands them, and her heart to heart connection with them is instantaneous. She thinks that every child can be taught how to become a genius in his or her own rights, according to the abilities that can be acquired by that child. She believes that certain children have certain abilities to learn certain things so well, that we call them geniuses.

Presently, she is writing a guide that any parent can use to help their children become geniuses in whatever field the child's abilities may lie. She thinks that the only thing parents need is a step by step method. After working on the method for several years, and applying it to the children in her life, the guide will soon be ready for publishing.

The author is multi-talented: artist, writer, crafts maker, textile designer, (tie-dye, batik, hand-painting), singer. She is also multi-lingual. The Caterpillar is her first book. It is in the process of being translated into other languages and it is meant to open the way for the other books that will soon follow - an insignificant caterpillar on a significant journey.

She has been a teacher of French, Art, yoga, and meditation for many years. She practices Ayurveda, and has a natural ability for healing by helping people find balance in their lives through balancing their emotions and unraveling their life experiences as a guide to finding their life's purpose.
