About the Book
The Date is 2nd May 1982. On board the Battleship Belgrano, a young Argentine Naval Officer, Alfredo Sanchar, fights in vain to survive as the ship, crippled by a torpedo from a British submarine, sinks into the dark waters of the South Atlantic. Many miles away, his twin brother, Jose, realises that Alfredo is in mortal danger, and when the truth emerges, he swears revenge on the British. Some years later, he gets his chance: he has to test-fire a new version of the Exocet missile, and the Queen of England is visiting a nearby nation by ship to celebrate the Millennium.
