Dear Mr. Williams:
Leadership is an important quality our children need to have to ensure they make the right choices when facing cultural and social pressure. Your inspirational book Think Like a Leader Not a Follower! is a welcome resource teachers and families can use to have conversation with our youth. Individual choices at a young age not only impact one's own future, they impact the community at large.
Thank you for the opportunity to read your work, and I support your organization's efforts to strengthen leadership training for our community's next generation.
Sincerely,
JANICE HAHN

Department of Probation
Dear Mr. Williams:
It was a pleasure reading your book, "Think Like a Leader, Not a Follower." What you said about leaders wanting what's best for themselves and others is so true. It's unfortunate that so many youth fall prey to gangs believing they will find happiness and acceptance yet what they really find is sorrow and self destruction.
Your book rightfully points out that we all have a role in nurturing leadership. If young women only realized the impact they have on young men's behaviour they would hold them to a higher standard and the world would be a much better place. As probation officers we model leadership qualities to those in our charge and find many youth willing to change when shown how.
While no one has all the answers to ending gang violence, I applaud your efforts to help young people identify choices they will make that will determine whether they have a happy and fruitful life or one of miser and disappointment. "Think Like a Leader Not a Follower" is a definite must read for parents and youth alike.
Very Truly Yours,

Dear Mr. Williams:
Leaders are always good thinkers; great leaders are great thinkers. Following some of the principles set out in your book will allow the reader to undertake better thinking and reap the benefits thinking creates. It will also help the reader in making better decisions.
Today's leaders have to talk the talk and walk the walk otherwise they will not be effective in what they do. Let's not assume for one minute that this observation is limited to leaders. Consistency in thought and deed and action applies to each of us. This book is appropriately geared to a young audience. It is designed to help young people understand the thinking process and the consequences for not thinking.
This is a valuable book for adults and children to use in an interactive way to help young people arrive at a point of positive leadership and thinking for themselves.
Very truly yours,
Robert B. Taylor
