About the Author

Julia Lawson Kearns is a High School Art and English teacher who loves to paint and write. She has recently been teaching younger children and renewed her interest in children's books. She illustrates all of her own books which are based on her childhood experiences and those of her children. She appreciates a children's book which teach new concepts based on tangible experiences.

As an art teacher the author finds marking student's sketchbooks/diaries a great visual journey. Her love for the beauty of creation is evident in this journey into some of her visual diary work.
