About the Book

This book is about a camel called Alex and a giraffe called Luiza that both have blue eyes. They live far apart but they share the same dream; they both want to feel special and so separately they head out on a search for this happiness. They leave their homes and begin their hunt but find each other. They realise that together their eyes create a sparkle, which not only affects them but also all the animals they meet along the way. They journey around the word revelling in their newfound happiness. This is a book that will enhance conversations of colour, animals and the world, with parents and children everywhere.

About the Author

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and grew up in Oxfordshire. I trained and am practicing as a Montessori pre-school teacher. I have worked abroad teaching English to young children and am very interested in Language development. I also study languages part time at university and in my spare time my hobbies include reading, writing and drawing.
