About the Book

Memoirs of Suzanne Simone Love is a sampling of Suzanne's body of work encompassing more than two decades. Suzanne gives us a personal glimpse into her early years as a secretary working in the Los Angeles FBI office, giving the reader an insider's look into the investigation of the assassination of Robert Kennedy in 1968. She also relates colorful insights during her second career - that of a Los Angeles County Deputy Sheriff. Also included in this compilation are a number of personal family vignettes, poetry and fictional short stories. Suzanne, already a published Poet, writes with a passion that leaps from the pages of her work. Poems describing her disabled daughter, sensitive and loving son, her husband and soul mate, as well as her staunch faith in the Catholic Church are richly represented within these pages; as well a commentary on current events, life that runs the gamut of emotions from stunned anger and despair after the events of 9-11 to laughter, sadness, love, and gratitude for special people who have touched her life.

About the Author

She had an eighteen year career in law enforcement; she began as a secretary in the Los Angeles Field Office of the FBI and subsequently worked as a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
