About the Book

Everyone has one, that basket full of lone socks that the dryer seems to have eaten the match to. This is the story of the adventures of one of those socks. Through the eyes of the sock, one will see how three little kids used their imaginations to each have different adventures.

About the Author

I was born on July 17, 1974 in North Platte, Ne and I am the second child with three siblings. McPherson County is where I called home until I was in the fifth grade, we lived on a ranch and I loved it. During the fifth grade we moved to Hershey, NE and that is where I graduated from high school. Attending Mid-Plains Community College and majoring in Optometric Assisting soon followed. After college I moved to Rapid City, SD, with a major optical chain. In 1997, I got married to a military man and moved overseas to Okinawa, Japan. While there I had three beautiful children, two boys and a girl. Returning to the States landed us in Lincoln, Nebraska. Being a stay at home mom at that time, I was convinced to start writing down the children's experiences. Thus my writing began!

Divorcing in 2006, the kids and I moved back to North Platte, Nebraska to be closer to my family. I was thrown back into the optical field along with being a full time mommy. Dabbling in writing in my very little free time. Through the support of my family and friends all of our dreams are coming true.
