Red Beard of The Little People relates the story of the Gruesome Flying Head. A faerie of the Nymphs of Risceal tells the story of The Little People. Riki meets Tom-tom of the Golden Fog. Walela, the hummingbird, tells how the hummingbird came to be. Riki's uncle describes how rainbows were created. Riki finally finds his beloved puppy, who had been visiting her grandmother. About the Author

Ian X. Byrne is a West Point graduate, retired professor of mathematics, and Professor Emeritus of Norwich University. He lives in 150-year-old farmhouse in rural Vermont along with his faithful Golden Retriever and four cats. He builds replicas of World War I aeroplanes as "l'Aerodrome Lorraine." For 25 years he directed an early music ensemble. He also writes fantasies about the Iroquois of long ago.
