About the Book
Aftermath of a Suicide by Ann Marie Throckmorton. A woman's friend commits suicide ten days after she moves in with him, when his parents and employer accuse her of murder, this true story begins.
Philip Withrow was only thirty-seven years old when he killed himself. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the neck with perforation of his carotid artery and spinal cord contusion. His employer joined with his parents to sue both the Coroner of Franklin County, Ohio, and in a separate suit, Ann Throckmorton, with their claim that Philip Withrow's suicide had been murder. Ann Throckmorton was the innocent victim of a tragic act by a trusted friend. The real, true crime was when his family challenged the Coroner's ruling of suicide and accused an innocent woman of murder.
Aftermath of a Suicide is a nonfiction account of abject grief, compounded by malice, slander and defamation, psychological recovery, and the cold, hard facts.
