About the Book

A sequel to "Dots, Dashes, ad Spindrift" After the author had vowed never to se t foot aboard a ship again. In attempting to find a niche ashore, firstly in the secret world of defense electronics then the commercial hiatus of salesmanship, fate eventually returns him to the shipboard way of life. When discovering his ferry destiny he realizes the contentment of seeing his family grow steadily whilst experiencing plenty of thrills and spills and more than a few moments of hilarity in his chosen profession. Contrary to inexperience opinions, ferry life was never mundane.

About the Author

Dan Williams, born in St. Helens, Lancashire, now lives in Broadstairs, Kent, where he has resided for over forty years. With his wife, Tricia, he has ten grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.. All three of their daughters are married, two living locally and the eldest not too far away in Hawkhurst, Kent. He still loves to travel, worldwide, and has continued his photography hobby by producing many home movies. His organizational skills are restricted now — apart from holidays — as are his sporting activities, although he still enjoys a game of snooker and hopes, one day, to have a break higher than thirty!
