About the Author

Tomi Ann DiCapua is a graduate of Georgian Court University. Once an elementary school teacher, she made the difficult decision to leave the education profession, follow her true passion, and pursue a career with animals. She is presently the proud owner of an animal grooming and daycare business. She has also since become involved in animal rescue and animal advocacy. She is a member of Almost Home Dachshund Rescue Society, the Internet Miniature Pinscher Service, and Critter Haven, Inc. Aside from raising public awareness concerning the plight of animals in need of rescue, her main objective in the future is to establish a non-profit animal sanctuary and adoption center. She resides in New Jersey with her husband, Angelo, and her seven dogs, Gotti, Junior, Bonnie, Clyde, Stewie, Roger, and Chip.
