About the Author

Mary Louise Janz earned Bachelor's Master's Degrees and taught art for 30 years. There was never a day when art did not play some part in her life. She created a vast collection of artistic renderings, and shared her techniques with students and other art teachers alike.

Mrs. Janz was enormously creative and prolific: watercolor, thousands of sketches, lovely crewelwork, elaborate cut paper designs, wood carving, 72 carvings of adorable soap cherubs, ceramics, and over 10,000 quatrains004-line verses on dozens of topics. She created her own character SOLUS, an angelic figure who "thought," as did she herself.
