About the Book

Dreamscape is the second book by Shirley Amos and it is a poetic imagination book to help children escape into their imagination. There are full-page color illustrations on every page. These are all hand drawn and hand painted. There are Space Adventures and an encounter with a dragon, as well as a poem dedicated to the Tatamagouche Train Station Inn located in Nova Scotia. Dreamscape makes for great readings at libraries and at bedtime between parent and child.

About the Author

Shirley Amos was born in Brantford Ontario. She live near Bowmanwille Zoo and had a real love for animals of all kinds. Her passion for writing started in the mid 80's and has never stopped. Her daughter Marlene, who also edits her work, encouraged her to write children's book and she has thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Her friend Shannon Alton helped to illustrate the book. Shirley hopes to publish more books in the near future. She has many of the stories already written.
