About the Book

For years dinosaurs have fascinated people both young and old. Several movies and books have fueled our imagination about these amazing creatures. Those who study these extinct animals (paleontologists) try to answer puzzling questions about dinosaurs. For example; how did they become so large? Could dinosaurs survive in today’s environment? What caused their extinction?

To discover answers about dinosaurs, we must start with the foundation of truth. The Bible is the truth about the history of the world, including the history of dinosaurs. Once we start with God’s truth, we can begin to answer some of the difficult questions we have about dinosaurs.

In “Dinosaurs Revealed” Larry Dye ‘the Creation Guy’ goes back to Genesis to understand the original environment dinosaurs lived in. From this information, we can understand why God created dinosaurs, how they became so large, what they ate, and who they co-existed with. It also answers questions about flying reptiles and the survival of huge sauropod dinosaurs.

The second half of the book explains what caused the environment to change for dinosaurs and how they eventually became extinct. The book concludes with three lessons that we can learn from dinosaurs in relation to God’s love, God’s judgement and God’s gracious provision for salvation.

About the Author

Larry Dye “the Creation Guy” is a graduate of Northern Alberta Institute of Technology and North American Baptist Divinity School (Taylor Seminary). With a strong emphasis on creation and apologetics, Larry has spoken extensively to churches, schools, science clubs, organizations, camps, libraries, and ministerials. His very first dinosaur presentation was at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller, Alberta. He brings a unique blend of creativity and humour, using scripture as a foundation for each presentation.

Larry has 20 years of ministry experience as a youth and outreach pastor. He has written and produced several full length plays including Catastrophic Park, Apollo 8, Pirates of the Mediterranean and the Storm Chasers. In addition, he has developed children’s dinosaur and space camps for church and community summer programs.

Presently, Larry Dye is the director of the Creation Discovery Centre; a museum learning centre located in Bow Island, Alberta. He is also a member of the Sunridge Observatory (Medicine Hat Astronomy Club).

Larry, his wife Marlene and two daughters (Brittany and Jocelyne) reside in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
