About the Author
Christine Joubert has lived in Calgary Alberta since 1977. She has been interested the arts since she was 22 years of age. Christine started creating sceneries in oil medioums and later expanded her creativity into a unique form of paintsculpture.
This fantastic style of painting was done with liquid polymer mix with the sandstone from one of the old historic buildings that had been destroyed by vandals. This new form of painting fueled an obsession into the history of the stone masons in the local area. This led to the creation of 18 historical paintings.
Christine has benn in the food industry since 1979 and has gathered a delicious amount of knowledge. Christine has been married to Garry since 1968 and has two daughters, Cindy and Nicole. Both daughthers follow in their mother footsteps and have been involved in the graphics arts since childhood.
The family spends its free time traveling all over Alberta taking photos of wild life, birds and country scenes along with Lief, Nicole's son of 11 years. A budding photographer himself.
