About the Book

The second volume in the collection of autobiographical, fictional and spiritual poems with a metaphysical slant to the sensuous. Each poem has an introduction outlining the creative impulse in the genesis of the poem. The premise of the poems is based on a personal philosophy that we are all born as angels and our journey is to find our wings (or angel nature) again!

Whereas the first collection of poems was heavy with the pain and joy of life's lessons, this anthology starts where the other left off. And then soars into the light. Whereas the former was introspective and autobiographical, here I have explored the inner poetry of other lives. And in doing so I have found a common ground. A common truth in our very uncommon and unique existences.

Once We were all Angels.
Once We all had Wings.
Some of Us know this.
Some of Us don't!
And some of Us know how to fly!

About the Author

Mehernosh Khan is an Indian born poet who practices medicine to support his poetry habit. He is influenced by the classic British poets and addicted to the Eastern poetry of Rumi and Hafiz. He lives in Pennsylvania with his wife Karen (the artist) and three cats and is still in the process of learning how to fly!

He is currently working on a fictional account of an incarnation of Lord Krishna living in present day Manhattan.
