Shifts - Beyond the Visible is an extraordinary, innovative book. It combines amazing photographs of the unseen world with a quest for personal and collective healing, evolution and wholeness.
About the Book
Shifts-Beyond the Visible
Presents photographs of the unseen world associated with poems, quotations and reference photographs which show what was visible to the naked eye. The intention is to encourage the readers to use their own intuition, sensitivity and creativity to interpret the photographs, and envision what the unseen world showed us and can teach us.
The second part of the book is a personal reflection resulting from Ninna's experiences and learning. The three categories she could classify the photographs into guided the writing on the topics she was inspired to develop.
Part 2.1 Personal Quest, Journey to Wholeness:
Is a reflection on:
- How we can individually heal, progress and evolve, in our quest for the meaning of our life, on a journey to be whole.
- Difficulties humans experience to be on that journey.
- The freedom and responsibilities we can choose to apply to our life.
Part 2.2 Life and Death:
Is a reflection on:
- The essence, the connections and processes of life and death.
- The cycle of death, transformation and rebirth.
- Connections between the living and the dead.
Part 2. 3 The Power of Prayer, Gatherings, Ceremonies and Rituals:
Is a reflection on:
- Individual and collective ways, we can use the tools we have to improve our
life and life on earth.
- Connections we can develop with the sacred, in and outside of ourselves and with different spiritual helpers and allies.
About the Author
Ninna Gay is a photographer who has exhibited her work for eleven years. She has also been on a constant spiritual quest for two decades and became an energy medicine practitioner. From 1999, her spiritual journey transcended her photographic work when she realized that her cameras allowed her to capture manifestations of the unseen world.
Such interesting photographs open a window into other dimensions of reality, and they can be correlated with a research for meaning, understanding or discovery of the unseen world surrounding us, as well as our connection and interaction with it.
Shifts-Beyond the Visible is the combination of her work as an energy medicine practitioner and artist. Ninna shares with us precious ancient and contemporary knowledge and wisdom she came across or developed during her own spiritual journey and training. She is originally from the South-East of France and has been living in Ireland for sixteen years. For over a decade, she also regularly traveled to Central and South America to take photographs and engage in furthering her spiritual evolution.
