The Way Out - The Spirit-Led Pathway

by W.J. Fulton

37 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #07-1750; ISBN 1-4251-4216-8; US$11.62, C$11.62, EUR7.94, £6.00

Especially helpful book with a distinctive message to addicts. Its aim is to lead the addict to a cure by faith which leads to the abundant bondage-free life.

About the Book

The inadequacy of medicine to help, and to offer the hope of cure to those whose lives have been devastated by alcoholism and addiction requires the addict to be led along another route. The issue is a moral one and the addicts needs to be pointed towards the only way; along the spirit-led pathway that leads to the only one who can effect a lasting cure - Jesus Christ the Son of God. Man was originally endowed with noble powers and a well-balanced mind. He was perfect in his being, and in harmony with God. But through disobedience, his powers were perverted, and selfishness took the place of love. His nature through sin is to live in the flesh and thus it is impossible for him in his own strength , to resist the power of evil. He is bound by Satan and will remain so forever if he does not allow God to convert him and turn his life in a new direction. The addict needs to accept by grace the gift of peace in his restless, troubled, and self-destructive life and become a New Creation. Addicts must be told about this wonderful way-out from this terrible soul-destroying infliction. In the recovery process God is all you have.
