STEVEN J. CONNERS is the author of A-B-C, a new political thriller about the rise of an independently wealthy third-party candidate who makes it his mission to wipe out poverty, war, political and religious strife and erase the line between the "haves" and "have-nots." Amassing an elite "brain trust" to make his new world order a reality, he announces it will be "as easy as A-B-C." Plan A: Get Elected. Plan B: Eliminate Nonproductive Elements. Conners worked in live theatre, creating, directing and producing numerous stage productions that traveled the United States, including The Great Ghost Show and The Magic Land of Mother Goose, before moving into the management and creation of event-style stunt promotions. In between tours and booking Dilly the Dragon, The Six-Foot Chocolate Easter Bunny, The Magic Elf, Silkini's Frozen Alive and Silkini's Buried Alive, Conners made a foray into designing and setting up several restaurants and even had a go at running a catering business (Shindigs Unlimited) and his own jazz club (Bozo's).

After nearly four decades in the entertainment business, Conners "retired" to host a radio show, The Voice of Reason, in order to provide a platform for everyone's voice to be heard. His years of traveling the country and speaking with "the average person" inspired his recent fiction efforts.

In addition to A-B-C, Conners has written several plays, children's stories and a non-fiction book on the responsibilities of democratic liberty.
