About the Author

A. A. Powley was born in Edmonton, Alberta in 1975 where a life-long love affair with science fiction and fantasy took root at an early age. Only after pursuing many alternate occupations ranging from computer analyst, to surveying, to Wal-mart department manager (pets & stationary) did he allow his passion for stories to sway his career path.

He began writing seriously in 2006, culminating with The Oracle of Y'alan, a tale of a young boy being persecuted for being born special. Today, he still calls Alberta home and is hard at work on his next manuscript.
