About the Author

Rob Samuels conceived the story of "Bobby Q and Shooster Too" while reading a bedtime story to his youngest daughter. While reading a book about the sounds of farm animals, Rob made the wrong sound for each animal, letting his daughter correct him. When he said "Shoo" for a cow, she promptly said "No daddy, cows say moo!" His response was "Well, maybe this one doesn't. I think there's a story about this cow." He wrote this book to read to his daughter so she would know the story of that cow and why she would say "Shoo."
