About the Author
ZILCH means something to me! It made me a living Eponym. it motivated my interest in the origin of words. This interest and my years of golf, both playing and viewing, inspired me to research the origins of golf terminology that eventually culminated in the writings of this book. As I began accumulating origin data about the various terms used in golf I found that many of the term's origins were surprising and strange. Well, that worked out very well for me. I always theorized that many learning activities can be more appealing and effective when sprinkled with related humorous anecdotes. So, hopefully you will laugh and enjoy while earning and learning the origin of the words that every golfer uses to to communicate. Many, many kudos to Gene Forester, whose illustrations makes the words come to life.
