About the Book

Moochie, a pig, a guinea pig, lives with his family whom he loves. The travels of Moochie begin the day he escapes from his cage as his family leaves for work and school. Moochie, a pig, a guinea pig, is now on the loose, but after some close calls he begins to believe home is where his tummy and his heart belong. He searches out for comfort and safety. Moochie's curiosity removes him from safety with the risk of never returning. Moochie's troubles would serve as a lesson for all young readers whom may experience similar curiosity challenges. A very tiny animal in this case can be the teacher to impart to the reader the importance of family, loving care, safety, responsibilities, and the essentials for a happy life. This fascinating tale would emphasize and remind the young reader about the dangers of running away, getting lost, talking to strangers and crossing busy roads.

"With original story and original artwork Joy Kincaid sets off an explosion of artistic flavor. Her creativity and care is never lacking."

- D. Thomas Kincaid

About the Author

Joy Kincaid lives and works on the central coast of California as a professional hairstylist/animal lover. Maxwell, her son, and joy acquired a love for guinea pigs after meeting their first guinea pig Smoochie, the main character of the book. Guinea pig's are the cutest and most diverse little creatures, filled to the brim with personality. Mooch always whistled when they opened the veggie drawer in the fridge. He always purred when they hugged him and loved him. Moochie would buck like a bronco, and sprint at high speed throughout the house when he was loose. Mooch always had little guinea pig kisses to offer. Because of these wonderful experiences Joy and Max wanted to share guinea pigs with everybody.
