About the Book
This book relates to the stories of the young people growing up on a homestead. Some are funny and some are sad. The book tells of many things that happened on a farm that young people did to entertain themselves. Schools, work, play and many other things are told in this book.
About the Author
Ken was born on the family homestead in 1931. He took his grade school at Harrievale (one room) through grade eight. He attended Melfort M.C.I. for grade nine. He then moved to Nanaimo, B.C. finishing his high school at John Shaw. Worked as a Instrument Technician Supervisor for MacMillan Bloedel until retiring in 1989. He married Evelyn Cottle (a native daughter of Nanaimo). They raised two children Karen and Barry.
