About the Author

Mary Kate Woodward is an artist, instructor, landscaper and published author. She wrote Butterflies and Butterfly Gardening in the Pacific Northwest, which was published by Whitecap Books in 2005. Her drawings appear in that book. Her and Per Joensen's photographs illustrate 100 Gluten-Free Cookies, a book that fills a niche that has been largely ignored until now. She uses only gluten-free ingredients and has been creating gluten-free recipes for over 15 years.
