A book about a little boy growing up... when he asks the adults in his world what is happening, they do not understand. His uncle listens and he gets answers.

About the Book

The little boy is growing up he asks his grandma who he trusts totally what is happening. She does not understand his questions. He asks his mom. He really wants and answer. She did not understand either.

Finally the uncle arrives. The little boy determined to find out what is going on, asks his beloved uncle, in little boy language, what is happening? He gets an answer. The uncle helps the little boy understand why it is important to grow up. The little boy understands what has happened to his car. In fact what has happened to him is the reality.

It is a book that shows parents and caregivers that the questions are not always what are on the surface. When you look at it from a little boy point of reference the question is clear.

About the Author

I started creating stories for children when I was eight years old. I would babysit and make up stories that would keep the children entertained. The next time they were to be babysat they would beg their parents to have me watch them.

In High School I took a creative writing class. I had my required pages of imagination to earn an A hardly into the first part of the semester. It was the easiest "A" I had ever gotten.

When I had children of my own, I used my old stand by methods to entertain them. When the kids were being tucked in, they would say, "Tell us another story. What kind of story do we get tonight?"

When my children were teens my daughter made me a handcrafted notebook with blank pages. She was not sure how I would take the gift.

I thought it was a great idea. I could write my stories. I started writing them and pasting them in the blank pages.

When I was in college, after my children were grown and gone from home, I began to think about publishing my stories. It was time to make the blank paged hand crafted notebook have meaning. I am trying to now make my stories available to others.
