About the Book
Applying AA Experience to ACIM - A PROPOSAL is as it indicates, a proposal to leaders, teachers and students of A Course In Miracles (ACIM) to join together in order to establish an organized approach using the 70 year experience of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) to disseminate the information of ACIM and AA to our world society and future generations. It's time that the profound system of recovery from alcoholism by applying spiritual concepts and service to others be shared with the rest of the world. As most discover through the process, alcohol abuse is only a symptom; the real culprit is Ego. This book will lead you through a proven method of Ego reduction and introduce you to a spiritual awakening. It then provides you information on the social order and structure of AA that can be used as blueprints for other spiritual organizations, such as ACIM, in order to help others in need.
About the Author
During a grueling experience of losing a twenty year job, this book was arranged and successfully helped the author/editor overcome a very negative state of mind. The author/editor must remain anonymous to respect the traditions of Alcoholics anonymous. He has been in AA and attends regularly for the past 25 years. He also has spent a considerable amount of time investigating other spiritual societies and their methods of prayer and meditation. Most of the information presented has been extracted word for word from other references and books (mostly AA literature). The author/editor only organized the presentation of the material and provides literary bridges from one set of material to the next with his own experience, strength and hope.
