For time eternal an immensely significant, closely guarded secret remained protected by a chosen handful of people. Outsiders who came close to the truth mysteriously disappeared or were brutally murdered.

About the Book

Many a Dark Hour is a story of intrigue, mystery and imminent danger surrounding a group of colleagues as they reluctantly embark on a quest to uncover the truth. Jack Westbrook is reunited with his old friend and compatriot Robbie Johnson following the death of a former acquaintance, and they commence their investigation in the knowledge that this was no ordinary demise.

Acquiring the invaluable assistance of a new-found female friend, they slowly piece together the facts, but after a serious attack on their lives they are hesitant to continue their mission, well aware that it may soon become fraught with danger. Sometimes faltering along the way, they gradually realise the researched documents contain information relating to an ancient secret on a biblical scale. As the importance of the mystery unfolds, they delve further into the unknown.

Travelling to a succession of locations provides a breakthrough indicating one specific site, which in turn leads them into a chilling and gruesome sequence of events. Through a series of ambiguous connections they glean vital information showing details of a covert experiment into Genetically Modified food products, which when applied to selected expendable prisoners went drastically wrong.

Further disappearances and unexplained deaths indicate their steps are being closely monitored. A link is finally established between their previous macabre findings and the GM project but circumstances have now changed and they need to act quickly to eradicate the problem before it gets completely out of control; the future of mankind is in their hands.
