About the Book

Volumes 3 & 4 - Pixie Love and Fear and A Modern Pixie Woman are the next instalments of the Pixie Chronicles. This is a children's book aimed for children with an imagination as big as ours! It is about the Pixies, Fairies, and other creatures that you met in Volumes 1 & 2 and more. This book is about the same Pixie Family - Daddy who is the head of the clan, Mummy without whom the family would not run, Lenay who is the oldest, now a young woman about to meet her first love. Then there is Johnny who is now dealing with growing up and the youngest two - Baby Pixie and Lillipad! Even though they are small they have big hearts and love each other dearly.

Volume 3 - Lenay meets Forest and has to deal with falling in love for the first time and Johnny finds its hard to stand up to his friends.

Volume 4 - Mummy who is of the older Pixie generation is seeing things through her 'Modern' Pixie daughters eyes and is a little envious.

This book is written and illustrated by two people who believe that there is more going on in your garden than the eye can see.

About the Author

Rosemarie Martin (The Author) grew up in a village in Hampshire with her parents and younger brother and an assortment of animals. At sixteen she left school and went to work at a museum as a Secretary and loved it so much she stayed on for the next sixteen years!

Rosemarie's mum is also a writer and local historian who herself has published books on the local history of the village and airfield.

Rosemarie met her husband at a 'Summer Ball' and after a whirlwind romance got married in America and now has two children.

About the Illustrator

Nicky Jones (The Illustrator) grew up in a small town in Hampshire with her parents and younger brother, Nicky is also an animal fanatic. She met Rosemarie when she went to work at the same museum, although Nicky left after two years they remained friends. Nicky and her husband live nearby. Rosemarie has always had a passion for writing and Nicky has always had a passion for art so they decided to put it together. They both have wild imaginations and have enjoyed putting together all four volumes of The Pixie Chronicles and are in the process of writing more.
