About the Book
Snuggled deep in the very heart of the countryside and almost forgotten by the modern world, the unsuspecting village of St Wells is about to get a big surprise…….
When Jamie boards the plane to Australia he knows that something exciting is about to happen but he never dreamt of staying at a sprawling gothic mansion and uncovering a fiendish plot. Together with his four friends; Daisy, Mickey, Libby, and Ben, and a mischievous teenage ghost called Monica, he must now save St Wells from the evil Norris Nurgin and the dark army of the Nurgite Brotherhood.
Faced with a terrifying storm, piles of muck and oozing sludge, a frenzied ghoul attack, and much much more, Jamie and his friends have an extraordinary chance to make history.
Like a bolt from the blue, this truly original book explodes with action and excitement.
About the Author
Stanleigh Nash lives in a small village in Buckinghamshire, England, with his wife Christine.
As a child Stanleigh grew up in London where his father was a Divisional Officer in the London Fire Brigade. At week ends and on holidays his parents would drive out into the country in their Austin Seven for picnics and to explore, and it was from these trips that Stanleigh first developed his great interest in history and his love for the freedom and beauty of the countryside.
This is Stanleigh's first book, and he has succeeded in skilfully creating an unusual, refreshing, full-blooded adventure story which carefully blends our modern world with the history that is all around us.
