Erlebnisse und Fiktionen

by Joe Topor

190 pages; quality trade paperback (softcover); catalogue #07-2648; ISBN 1-4251-5864-1; US$21.96, C$21.96, EUR15.00, £11.34

A collection of short stories from all over the world. Amusing stories are mixed with stories to think about. Many situations are rather critical to social conditions.

About the Book

Joe Topor presents a collection of short stories from places all over the world. In many cases it will be necessary to know, where and when the story happened. This information is listed at the end of the story.

Some stories are written in a somewhat ironical way and are more or less amusing, others are very sad or show up certain problems. The problems faced are humane, organizational or political. In any case, characters of men or characters of man-made systems appear. The book is written in German language.

About the Author

The author was born right in the 2nd World War. As a small child he had no quiet time but was shifted to three different places. In this unquiet time he became accustomed to always move around. Everywhere he was a stranger and he had to defend his ground.

Later on, he saw much of the world – with always critical eyes – and his impressions he put down. Like this, a collection of short stories arose which are more or less presenting the reality.
