Ben and Kate Thorley accept his boss' invitation to a Hawaiian vacation at his second home on Maui. To their pleasant surprise, he offers them the use of his small yacht for two weeks and encourages them to cruise to one of the other islands. They are unaware of his deadly ulterior motive and begin their carefree voyage. What follows is a series of ever-changing events that send the young couple on an emotional roller coaster ride. A number of unrelated characters become involved or intertwined with the couple as seemingly simple decisions and actions begin to take their toll. FATE is at work…and FATE has no conscience.

About the Author

'Stan' Standley is a retired Naval Aviator from Alvin, Texas. After leaving the military, he became a civil aviation ground instructor and worked for a furniture manufacturer before joining the nuclear power industry. He utilized some first hand knowledge to create this expanded, fictionalized rendering of an event that occurred in Hawaii in January, 1982. He also authored Pawprints All Over Me and is currently working on another novel. He resides in Plymouth, Massachusetts with his wife, Bobbie, and two demanding weimaraners.
