About the Author

I have always enjoyed reading books. As a little girl I used to have books under my pillow. After my dad would switch off my bedroom light and go downstairs I would switch it back on and read! When I learned to write I can remember writing my own stories, pages and pages long. My teacher at primary school would often say to me "make sure it's only one page long!"

I have always enjoyed telling stories, especially to my daughters at bedtime. I usually make them up as I go along! Once after myhusband heard me telling a story to our daughter, he suggested I write my own book and illustrate it. I thought it was a good idea and here it is!

The idea for this story came from my daughter. When I came home with my new baby girl, my older daughter was behaving just like Honey bear in the story.
