About the Book

The armour clad swordfighting fairies of Cyniger and their wizards, have a continual battle with the Nennsh spider riders and their evil witch Ranzu. Cyro the main wizard and Flame, Queen of the Fire Fairies have the job of organizing the fairy army in times of war. This is a continual occupation.

Their daughter Zarla is granted a wizards key giving her accesses to the powerful wizard web. Zarla is in love with Saxi, an accomplished fairy swordfighter. He has a rival for Zarla, the young Sea Wizard, Jade. Estarol, a young Ice Witch, wants the wizard Cyro to grace her Ice Castle. Flame and Zarla are not impressed. Estarol has a mother, Dutayna, another Ice Witch, who knew Cyro in his younger days

Ranzu rules Ortgar the land of the Nennsh with fear and greed. She will stop at nothing to get a foothold in Cyniger, which in turn gives her the Earth. Their transport system consists of giant spiders, the forest canopy is their highway and in the end battlefield. (Size, one armoured spider can span a single treetop.) It’s one minute to twelve.
