About the Book
Voices in the Sunset echoes the voices of many as the author tears away his veiled thoughts to unveil life, society, politics while stretching his imaginations between fantasies and realities. The reader's expectation will leap from page to page as each poetic piece is unfolded. Each poetic piece may be colorful, reflective, passionate, meditative, controversial or very outrageously funny. The inclusion of puzzles between pages was designed to give the brain an active workout while providing a great pastime. The book explains how to solve the included puzzles for beginners.
About the Author
The light of a man's life is never discovered until a greater light is shone there on. Dervon Johnson was born in a rural town within the parish of St. Catherine Jamaica and has lived in St. Catherine for over 35 years. Though mostly self taught after my boarding school education, I found the pursuit of higher levels of learning a very disparaging encounter without parental support.
My mother and father were separated while I was yet in my early teens, she had resided in a foreign country while my father pursued a new life of which I was not a part. I took up writing for my leisure about three and one half years ago without the first thought of compiling my own book. During the process of writing my poetic pieces for "Voices In The Sunset", I have compiled another book with much greater quantity of puzzle games titled: "Soduki Mastering Principles Of Sudoku", I am also the inventor of a new board game "Relay Conquest".
I hope to continue writing poetry, as this gives me a feel of elevation and freedom. Writing poetry to me could be described liked unto an artist creating his work of art on canvas. "Voices In The Sunset" introduces my first poetic work and is my desire that it will bring to each reader an entertaining experience while engaging his or her mind around some of the very best Soduki puzzles that are included. More of the included puzzles can be a daily supplement available in my book "Soduki Mastering Principles Of Sudoku".
