About the Author
Born and bred in North Wales, from a very early age I realized I was destined for a career in helping people and providing a great service.
I always wanted to become a police officer but whilst waiting for the training course to begin, I began working in the Hotel and Catering industry which I enjoyed a great deal.I also realized that I had a gift of being able to understand people's needs. I excelled in this industry, so joining the police force went out of the window. Within a short space of time I had worked my way up to management level and was working in some very special hotels throughout the UK. All of which were mentioned in the good hotel guides. I had set myself some high standards early on in my life.
I spent 10 years in this industry and when I met my husband to be (who was French and also in this industry) we decided to call it a day as it wasn't the best industry to be in to raise a family.
My next career line was recruitment. Again helping people to find their ideal job and helping companies to find that perfect employee. I have always found it easy to talk with people and I find to this day that people approach me for help and advice both personally and professionally. After spending six years in the recruitment industry I then left to have my son. It was very hard to go back to work full time after he was born. Leaving him was heartbreaking.
At this time I found a part time job working for bank. It was ideal and suited my lifestyle. I enjoyed working in this industry and helping people to manage their finances. When my son began school and I went back to work full time I was given many opportunities to work in different areas of the bank. I soon began to realize that there were a lot of people out there who needed help with their bank account and I feel that perhaps they may not be getting the help they require or may feel a little intimated to ask for help. Although I felt I was providing a good service to the customers I spoke with, I knew there was more I had to do in order to help people with their money. That's when I knew it was time to write a book.
I was beginning to feel that managing a bank account for some may have become a misery to them. This book has been written to help people all over the country.
I hope that this book will help you to take control of your money and allow you to have some less stressful days in your life, as life can be stressful enough for some at the best of times.
One promise I will make to you now is that every time something changes within the banking industry I will release an up to date version to help you.
